The Children’s Cultural Area is a part of Kulturskolen Skanderborg and benefits everyone in terms of joy and learning, this includes institutions, schools, Kulturskolen and citizens of Skanderborg Kommune.

The Cultural Area is divided into two areas: One for institutions and one for schools.

Children’s Cultural Area for institutions includes: Cinemas and theaters for kids, visiting museums, a musical day-care and nature interpretation.

The employees in the institutions will be offered an enhancement in skills, so they’re prepared to be embrace art in the daily activities in the institutions.

Children’s Cultural Area for schools includes: School concerts, dancing performances and theaters. There will also be activities for acclimatization, interstage and at the end.

We have an amazing partnership with the schools, and currently we can offer 200 cultural activities split between the schools of the municipality over 1 school year.

Our CultureCrew will also visit the school. The CultureCrew are pupils, who assist with arranging visits from artists and doing PR to the activities.
