Kulturskolen’s orchestra pupils will once again pay Copenhagen a visit.

The orchestra festival (Orkesterfestivalen) is for everyone – but especially for children and adolescents. It is the children themselves, who contribute to this festive day, where classical music will be presented for and with children and adolescents. The orchestra festival is “Musik og Ungdom’s” annual festival for young orchestra musicians.

The festival has been around since 2005 and gives both the audience and the musicians the opportunity to engage themselves in classical music for an entire day.

This is where young musicians can play on Denmark’s most attentive scene for orchestra music while the audience will get to meet many young musicians.

Furthermore, the orchestra festival also pays tribute to the unity between orchestras across Denmark.

Orkesterfestivalen is arranged by Musik & Ungdom in cooperation with DR Musikariet.
