Kulturskolen will of course participate in Børnekulturdag (Children’s Culture Day) in Galten/Skovby.

It is a tradition in Galten/Skovby, that the day-care and institutions assist in initiating the town celebration in Galten, with festive parade going through the town. The intention is to focus on the children and culture and that participants are observant and active themselves. Both in preparation for the event and on the day itself.

There may be some surprises along the way like music, art and clowning. We want to give children a good and surprising experience that they can remember. On route, the children of Gyvelhøjskolen and Børnehaven Porskjær, will present some music while passing by. Everyone contributes with a piece of art which will be put up somewhere on the route, which the children can discover on the way. The heading for the art this year is “hands and feet”. The day-care and library will have a work presented at the library.

The library will contribute with a clown on stilts, which will participate in the parade.
