The admission test will give you the opportunity to get admitted to Kulturskolen’s Master Class (elitelinje). The test will be held in an overall safe and positive atmosphere.

15 minutes is set-aside to each pupil.

• The test is primarily about your potential for further development in music. There is also attached an importance to your teacher’s recommendation.
• You will present a piece of music of your own choice.
• You will be examined in melodic imitation.
• Classical pupils will play prima vista and while rhythmical pupils will improvise. Ask your teacher about the difficulty.
• There will be a small conversation.

Pupils will be prioritized based on the spread of genres and instruments, along with the opportunities to put together musical constellations.

Requirements for the Master class:

• Based on pupils at 14-25 years of age.
• That you’re passionate about learning and motivated for social engagement
• That you’re curious, open to challenges and new knowledge.
• That you can set aside 2 days a week for activities at Kulturskolen
• You have to be recommended by your own teacher for the admission test.
• You will become a mentor for a “pre-master class” pupil
